First post of 2012!
Another superhero portrait that was shown in 2011 along with Eric Shonborn’s and Jason Young’s exquisite pieces at Christopher’s Restaurant. Notice the Creeper’s cape (or whatever it is) isn’t attached to him? I didn’t until I had already inked and colored the figure. Rats!
This is a self-portrait sketched in 2004. The face is shamelessly idealized, as if Quasimodo had tried to draw himself as Apollo. The rest of the piece, however, is fairly true to the life.
This is a family portrait. In person, Kathy is more attractive, Sarah is more adorable and I’m more ugly. The rest of the piece is just various puns on time.
For my first post, I thought I’d let you see this sketch of my daughter. Thank goodness she takes after her mother.
